Counselling is an unregulated profession – by choosing a Counsellor with Professional Membership you are selecting a professional who has undertaken sufficient levels of training to ensure they ethically and competantly meet their client's needs. 

Membership of a professional body demonstrates training credentials to a specified level, duration and standard, so you can feel confident your therapist is competent.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and abide by their Ethical Framework.
